After founding California-based First Team Real Estate in 1976, Merage grew the company into one of the top 35 largest brokerages with approximately 1,900 agents doing over $6.5 billion in annual sales. In 2023, the firm executed a rebrand of the company and announced the appointment of CEO Michelle Harrington. Cameron has retained the chairman of the board title.
