Baird oversees nearly 2,000 agents with more than $5 billion in annual sales across Illinois, Wisconsin and Florida. His great-great-grandfather, Lyman Baird, founded the Chicagoland-based brokerage in 1855, which makes the company one of the nation's two oldest surviving brokerages. In June 2025, the firm made the largest acquisition of its 170-year history by acquiring Dream Town and its approximately 400 agents in Chicago.
