In his first full year leading eXp Realty as its CEO, Pareja continued the company’s growth trajectory with a focus on its agent-centric, national brokerage platform-powered model. In addition to taking the reins of the nation’s largest brokerage by annual units and agent count, he has also emerged as a trusted and competent industry voice.
As a brokerage leader, Pareja has advocated for and practiced transparency. Under his guidance, the firm has created several real estate forms designed to clarify controversial industry practices — including a seller advisory form that illustrates the pros and cons of an exclusive listing strategy — and updated buyer and listing agreements to clearly disclose referral fees. The forms are available to all brokers and agents.

Though eXp is humming along on many cylinders, the company has begun to see its US agent count drop. While the brokerage has said this reflects its focus on retaining quality agents, the shift also illustrates a new challenge: transforming from a high-growth brokerage into one that can operate more efficiently — and more profitably — at scale.
Pareja, who began his real estate career at 19, is recognized as a national thought leader committed to mentorship, agent support, and a broader social mission of promoting homeownership access and transparency in business practices.
For his respected industry voice and role at the helm of one of real estate’s trailblazing companies, Pareja makes his debut in the top 10 of the industry’s most powerful leaders.
