McLaughlin oversees the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR), one of the largest local Realtor associations in the US with approximately 10,500 members. Prior to joining NVAR in 2015, he worked for a decade at Greater Lehigh Valley Realtors in Pennsylvania, first as its director of government affairs and later as CEO. McLaughlin is a current board member for Bright MLS and SentriLock.
